Wired2fish Presents: Jeff Kriet Tip #1 Fishing Deep

Carp Fishing Tackle Synopsis: The Shimano Biomaster 8000 XT -B Reel

There’s isn’t anything that gives me more pleasure than assembling my carp fishing tackle on a nippy, windy morning, and going out to hunt this splendid and cunning fish. Before returning the animal to the water, I often marvel at its beauty and spirit. Because carp are a particular favourite of mine, I like my gear to reflect that favour. Skilled equipment for carp is easily obtainable, and I am forever hunting around for new-fangled pieces to put in my wide collection. If truth be told, I have a passion for reels, since I prefer to take several of them in my kit. A reel that I generally take with me is my Shimano Biomaster 8000 XT -B. Keep reading to see why.

Carp Fishing Tackle: Essential Elements of the Biomaster 8000 XT -B

The reel has a reasonable price at close to £139.99, also, you could come across it, specifically on the internet, for close to £119.99. Because it has proven that it can be consistent and sturdy many times, this reel holds a steady place in the Shimano product line.

Because it has plenty of Shimano’s premium parts, such as a built in Baitrunner spool – for me, the Biomaster will always be a desired piece of carp fishing tackle. The size of the reel is ideal, not too large, so it’s perfect for use on most of my specialised carp rods. Despite the fact that looks isn’t everything when it comes to purchasing a reel, the Biomaster’s well-designed dark colour plan makes it extremely eye-catching.

Carp Fishing Tackle: Further Information on the Shimano Biomaster 8000 XT -B Reel

The 8000 XT-B features 3 shielded ball bearings and one roller bearing. Another main part, that works for me, is the Floating Shaft II that diminishes friction amongst the spool shaft and pinion gear. The 2-speed oscillation system featured with the Biomaster is the worm gear variety, and offers great line lay, together with a winding shape which reserves energy when casting. The consequence? Less effort, and significantly longer casting distances. Super Stopper II is an anti-reverse feature that I find quite useful, along with the AR-C line management system. The reel contains a 4.6:1 retrieve ratio. The 8000 XT -B offers a line capacity of 350yd of 17lb test line and its weight is 720g. Every one of these components combine so that the Biomaster is a unique reel.

Carp Fishing Tackle: Last Word Regarding the 8000 XT -B Reel

Shimano products have been my favourites since the business is dedicated to being a dependable environmental guardian.
Shimano consistently looks for ideas to preserve our environment, and maintaining the safety and well being of its workers and clients without slacking in the quality of its production system or its merchandise

Lastly, I really like the idea that this firm continually works to show fishing as a safe and vigorous outside activity that helps to show us how to admire and take care of our natural environment.

For the very best in carp fishing tackle, think about placing the Shimano Biomaster 8000 XT -B reel with your collection.

I have been fishing since i was 9 years old and nothing calms me more. To get the best deals on carp fishing tackle in the UK i recommend KeensTackleandguns. Should I use a 10 inch ribbon tail worm?

I like to pond fish and have watched pros use 10 inch worms (i.e. culprit, powerworms, monsterworms, magnumworms). I would like to use these but I don’t want to limit myself to 4+ pounders only. I still want to be able to catch 1 and 1 1/2 pounds too. I want to know what brand, color, and technique to use. Thanks alot, I’ll be sure to give the most thorough answer 10 points.

I enjoy pond fishing to, If i was you i would either use smaller hooks (you catch more) or go to Bass Pro and buy a pack of Zoom worms, They work great. Good luck !
